Seasonal Flakes

Ariel from The Tatter's Treasure Chest - 6 repeats only
Green makes them appropriate for Spring -- the flakes are also appropriate to the kind of Spring we've been having. *sigh*  Snow in May is weird (not today, but a week ago).

These are made with DMC size 80 tatting thread hand-dyed by my sister in "Desert Green."  The beads are just little red glass seed beads.

The green snowflakes are going onto a white ornament.  I'll have to show that off when it's done.

I LOVE these! I am just beginning an edging in #80 and it is downright scary! Your stitches look so crisp. Very inspiring.

Your snowflakes are beautiful, and the beads add just the right touch of sparkle! Isn't it weird to be thinking of snow in May/June? Right now the birds are singing, so snow is far from my normal thoughts... thank goodness!

Very pretty! They look great in green, and in those shades with the red beads it looks like a garden :-)
I'm looking forward to seeing them on white ornament. You do such wonderful ornaments!

You've done many beautiful ornaments, and on a white ball these will look great! Such neat tatting!

Also, how nice to have your own HDT supplier!! These colors are wonderful and they blend together so well.
